Game Of Thrones Season 5, Season 6 Confirmed By HBO
David Nutter who directed the infamous Red Wedding episode is coming back for more helming duties in Game of Thrones Season 5. Game of Thrones' HBO Season 5 2015, Series Becomes Most Watched Show of Network The Game of Thrones Season 5 premiere, although slated to be aired in March or April 2015, is already heavily anticipated and new spoilers are circulating among viewers. This post contains spoilers from Sunday's Game of Thrones episode "The Children." Read at your own discretion.
Thanks to all the deaths in the Season 4 finale, a lot of the relationships we loved watching week after week are now gone for good. Take Arya and the Hound, for example. Or Tyrion and Shae. Tywin is no longer around to stand in Cersei's way, and Ygritte isn't out there to tempt Jon Snow. Change is scary. How do you think the show will handle the fourth book? Do you think the series can pull it off? Though Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are alive going into Season 5, they have many hurdles to face in the upcoming episodes. In Martin's book, Jon becomes Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch. Though it seemed like Stannis Baratheon would be a strong ally, he may start questioning Jon's decisions soon.
Not the simplest question when it comes to such a sprawling narrative. The best way to attack is probably by location so let's start in King's Landing and the shocking events of the season finale. With the help of Varys and Jaime, Tyrion made it onto a ship heading out of the capital (with Varys?) but not before murdering Tywin and Shae first. Another two bite the dust. While Cersei won't be pleased with her family's actions, at least her son Tommen still sits atop the Iron Throne. Oh, and the Martells are probably not too pleased that Oberyn got his head smashed during "The Mountain and the Viper."
It is unclear as to why the production decided to go with new directors for Season 5, but it most certainly won't effect the rabid fan base. Fans cannot get enough of the show and the books on which the series is based. The series has become a crossover hit with audiences of not only the fantasy genre but also for people more interested in the very human stories unfolding. The series will be hosting a panel on the fifth season at the San Diego Comic Con later this month.
The second role breakdown only includes three characters, but one hints at a possible game-changing event for Game of Thrones I don't think it's much of a spoiler but here's a warning just in case. First off, the fantasy is looking to add another warg with wildling skinchanger Varamyr Sixskins on the casting call. Next is a character not in the books, 'a 12 year old blonde girl' named Imogen which many believe is (THAT SPOILER) really a place-holder for young Cersei. Of course, I have another theory on who that Brunette might be but now's not the time for real (END OF) SPOILERS.
