Will Jon Snow Learn To Love Again After Ygritte’s DEATH? New Directors And Filming Locations
Abandon hope, all ye who do not want spoilers! Walk away now and never return! But if you're curious who's going to be around for next season, this casting sheet is for you. (It's also for those of us who don't watch but want to continue having conversations with our friends. "Haha, you're right! Arya is a badass!")
Many other parts of Qarth were filmed on the nearby island of Lokrum, including the botanical gardens, used for outdoor scenes such as the welcome party thrown by Xaro. Lokrum itself is said to be cursed, so much like the characters in “Thrones,” you would be wise to visit but not to stay. Back on the mainland, the gates of Qarth were constructed in Dubac quarry, along with King’s Landing’s waterside garden in Season 3, which was located at the Trsteno Arboretum.

It’s an almost unprecedented position to be in, whereas the source material is unfinished and an adaptation is steamrolling through the story. Not all of the Harry Potter books were finished by the time the first movie was out, but they were each released before their corresponding movie(s). It puts showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss in an interesting position, one in which they seem to be pretty comfortable. Book readers might cringe at the thought of the unknown (and the modified), but the show is at a point where it will have to stand on its own. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
And, of course, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are returning as showrunners (though not behind the camera for any episodes in 2015), so it’s unlikely Game of Thrones will look all that different from how you remember it. The news of the forthcoming absence of this major character got us thinking about the other differences between the novels and the TV show, and we've decided to address the top five major changes that the series has made to George R. R. Martin 's text, in an attempt to see if we can understand the reasons behind them. Obviously some spoilers for those that haven’t read the books yet, and or haven’t finished this latest season. Alfie Allen (Theon) has had an amazing season. Did you realize how good he was back in season one?
